Overview

This itinerary should be used as a guide only and may vary from day to day depending on road and weather conditions, political situations, and management decisions. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Due to Tourism Laws in some of the countries we visit, there may be a truck and crew change during the trip.

Botswana is sometimes overlooked for game viewing, but the diversity in wildlife and scenery in its game parks is second to none. Chobe National Park offers unique wilderness that will leave indelible memories of spectacular wildlife and evenings spent around a campfire under millions of stars.

What makes this trip responsible? Most of the tour is spent camping which reduces our energy consumption for the whole trip. We also source all of the food used while camping locally. Furthermore, whilst camping, the leaders ensure that we minimize the impact as much as possible by such things as clearing up camping areas after use. We pay the mandatory park fees which contribute to the conservation of the parks and surrounding areas.

Highlights

  • Full day game drive into Chobe National Park Reserve
  • Boat cruise in the magnificent Chobe River
  • Full day trip to the famous Victoria Falls

Riverfront is most famous for its large herds of elephants, Cape buffalo, lions, leopards just to mention a few which during the dry winter months converge upon the river to drink. We will do a game drive in transit to the Chobe riverfront campsite.
Our private campsite is on a Teak Forested dune that overlooks this beautiful Chobe River. Game drives are taken in the afternoons and mornings along the magnificent Chobe River.
